Blog issue 5)

Apologies that my blog is a tad late this week but as most of you are aware I am on holiday. Looking out from my 5 bedroom villa with its own swimming pool and gym on the exotic island of Barbados. It's so difficult to pull myself away from the cocktail bar at the pool and from walking down the glorious sea front.....

I wish !! Well back to the real world and reality?!? So who really killed Lucy Beale ??
The world has gone mad ? We now have betting on something that is a fixed result. Well, what do I know, there has been so much interest and debate in every household, pub, village and corner shop. Maybe it really is time that I stopped being a SOUR and grumpy bugger. Telling my family constantly 'It's not real you know !'

Then again I am not one for conforming with the majority. We even had the the Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach) putting back his speech 30 minutes , so that it would not clash with the announcement that Jane Beale was the Jesabell that brought Lucy's young life to a tragic end! Sorry i missed the last episode was it a dead heat ?

Maybe we can have spread betting on how may years she will get ?? Match betting on more or less year's than Dot Cotton ?? I have got to move on, considering I don't even watch the soap.

Back to District information and maybe there will be another murder for real this time !?! I will only find out next week who has let the district down and a customer, by giving poor service and only scoring a 4 NPS on a mystery visit last week. This has now put us bottom of the Area and close to the 50% mark which would be so disappointing considering we were on course for 60%.

4 MORE WEEKS LET'S FOCUS AND LOOK AFTER ALL OUR NEW FACES !

On a positive note, Chingford now enters the Roll of Honour list, on the back of a AV COE pass last week. Well done !

After Ladbrokes failed attempt to buy out one of the biggest online player's 888 in 2011, up steps William Hill with what I believe to be a very generous offer £2.10 pence per share but once again this was not enough. The future of online seems to be constantly on a upwards curve. My projection would be that it will not be long until we look elsewhere for another takeover approach , maybe Bwin or betway.

Another second place last week from my 2 runners! I can still hold my head high mind, having given my colleagues a 20/1 winner after our line meeting on Friday. Even Andy Hunt put a few pounds on the nose and he's not had a winner since Henry VIII took his second wife. Apologies to Kayne,James and Gary who left early.

Selection's this week

Spring Heeled 5/2 Fairyhouse  (4th)
Rocky Creek 16/1 E/W Kempton  (WON SP 8/1)
